Electroacoustic performance by the two artists Anja Lautermann and Frauke Berg

Lautermann and Berg develop astonishing approaches to sound textures. Microphoned objects, synthetic and electronic sounds, classical instruments, sampled fragments and the human voice create their own inner mechanics. Noises, eccentric rhythms, vocals and experimental melodies form the repetitive, hypnotic sound of the two musicians. The performance is like a joint dive into a strange and yet familiar world...there is no right or wrong, there are compromises, but sometimes also irreconcilable sounding positions, tensions, dissonances, layering - it is about flowing processes, changing forms, different perspectives that all want to be heard and leave room for countless interpretations and associations.
