The Deutscher Fotobuchpreis is one of the most prestigious awards for photographic publications in the German-speaking world. Every year, it honours outstanding illustrated books, theoretical works and innovative publications that reflect the diversity and artistic quality of photography in book form. The award-winning books come from Germany, Austria and Switzerland and go on an international exhibition tour after the award ceremony.
The German Photo Book Prize will also be making a stop in Dortmund.

Parallel to the ‘Deviations’ exhibition, visitors can discover the award-winning works in ANNELISE - Raum für Bücher und Bilder. The spectrum ranges from documentary and artistic photography and photographic theory to experimental and self-published works. The German Photo Book Prize can be seen in Dortmund and offers all photography and book enthusiasts the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of contemporary photo books.
