The exhibition „Third Party“ presents works by eight students from the University of Duisburg-Essen. The projects reflect the individual search for their own photographic expression. The spectrum of works ranges from photograms and documentary approaches to the animation of results from digital imaging technology. Aesthetic and conceptual interfaces form the bracket in the joint exploration of the festival theme. The focus is less on the individual, technically brilliant image, but rather on a composed body of work, dedicated to experimentation.
